about Coach Judy feld

Judy Feld is an executive coach with a highly regarded reputation worldwide. Her professional credentials and leadership place her at the top of this relatively new and rapidly growing profession.

Her company is called CoachNet, and she has been working with business and professional people since 1995 to support them in creating strategies to achieve their goals and maintain an optimal work/life balance. She coaches executives, entrepreneurs, managers, scientists, and business teams all over the world, with extensive experience in career, change, leadership and communications coaching for professionals at all levels. She is also a skilled and generous mentor to other coaches, and a pioneer in the development of group coaching models for corporations and organizations. Judy is a sought-after speaker at professional conferences and workshops.

Judy was co-founder of the Executive and Professional Coaching Program at the University of Texas at Dallas, which accepted its first cohort class in September, 2005. She now serves on the faculty, leads the Coaching Practicum, and manages faculty training and credentialing for this ICF Accredited Coach Training Program (ACTP). Judy also was also instrumental in the creation of the award-winning coaching initiative in UTD's Executive MBA program, and continues to serve as an executive coach in that program.

She serves as a founding Board member of the Graduate School Alliance for Executive Coaching. She is a graduate of and was director of distance learning for the Authentic Happiness Coaching Program, featuring Dr. Martin Seligman, a founder of the positive psychology movement.

Judy Feld was the 2003 President of the International Coach Federation (ICF), the 13,000-member nonprofit organization that serves professional coaches. She was founding editor/publisher of the Coaching News, the E-newsletter for the ICF, and served on the Board of Directors for eight years. Under Judy's leadership the ICF grew in quality and quantity, with a greater than 25% increase in membership and a strengthening of the quality of programs to maintain and upgrade the standards of the profession. Judy Feld is an ICF Master Certified Coach (MCC) - one of the first 20 coaches to receive that designation at its inception in 1998.

She is the co-author of the book " SmartMatch Alliances", released September, 2002 and a partner in Coaching Success™, specializing in global distance learning by telephone, using a state-of-the-art conference call system for interactive and dynamic TeleForums.

In her more than twenty years of business experience prior to her coaching career, she has held corporate management positions in marketing, consulting, business development, research and software design while remaining actively involved in training and speaking. As former vice-president of AMR Information Services (American Airlines), Judy led a team that helped to envision future uses of technology and deliver it to a global markets. The venture was a success from both a technological and organizational context, despite complex issues of culture, technology and history.
